The animated PBS Kids show "Carl the Collector" is about a raccoon named Carl who hangs with his parents and many friends and loves to collect things. He also happens to be on the autism spectrum. It was important to the show's creators that some of the voice actors and writers also be on the autism spectrum so the show remains authentic. A new character, Paolo, is non-verbal and communicates with a tablet, which Carl thinks is cool. (Oct. 23)
