Cadets faint during announcement of new RCMP commissioner

An RCMP officer says two cadets who fainted during a ceremony announcing the force’s new commissioner succumbed after standing for a long period of time. Sgt.-Maj. Tammy Patterson says fainting is “very common” for Mounties on parade.
