Prime Minister Mark Carney was joined by numerous leaders, including Montreal mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada and Quebec Premier François Legault aboard the new Deux-Montagnes branch of the Réseau express métropolitain. The light-train network has connected downtown Montreal to its South Shore since 2023.
