Cologne offers free water and misting spray to help sweltering locals cool down

Residents in the German city of Cologne used public water sprinklers to cool off amid a heatwave in the region. Temperatures there soared to 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit) on Wednesday. To help keep residents cool in the summer, Cologne's local government had teamed up with local energy and water supplier RheinEnergie to provide the sprinklers as part of the "Cooling Cologne" campaign.
