Canadians marked the fifth National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Sept. 30, a day meant to reflect on the legacy of residential schools. Events celebrating Indigenous culture and remembering the victims of residential schools were held across the country, including Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver. (Sept. 30, 2025)
