Feds, Ontario announce multimillion-dollar mask buy

The federal Liberal and Ontario Progressive Conservative governments teamed up to help the 3M Canada factory in Brockville, Ont., expand so it can produce 50 million medical-grade N95 masks annually, beginning in 2021. Both Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau say the partnership is a crucial part of ensuring Canada is never caught without its own supplies during a pandemic again.
