The prolonged economic and political instability in Venezuela has forced millions of people to leave the country over the past decade. Their dreams quashed by the crisis, many Venezuelans wonder if they will ever be able to return to their homeland, which once was the most prosperous in South America. Refugee agency UNHCR estimates more than 7.7 million Venezuelans have left since 2014.
