Hundreds of thousands without power after Ontario ice storm

More than 350,000 Ontarians were without power after a weekend ice storm. Most of the outages were in cottage country, but tens of thousands of customers between the eastern edge of the Greater Toronto Area and Kingston, Ont., also lost power overnight. The storm is moving east, threatening parts of Quebec, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. (March 30, 2025)
