Liberals table dental-care legislation
Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos tabled new dental-care legislation in the House of Commons to allow the government to send cheques to low- and middle-income families to help them pay for their kids' oral health services. Bill C-31 would provide qualifying families with children under the age of 12 with up to $650 per child each year to pay for dental-care services, depending on their household income.
