Massive flames engulf Newfoundland fish plant after ferocious storm

A fish plant in St. Mary’s, N.L., burned to the ground as a powerful storm pounded the coasts of eastern Newfoundland. The plant was the town’s main employer and more than 300 people from the St. May’s Bay region worked there. (Nov. 5, 2025)
