Several non-governmental organizations in the Western Balkans have been left stranded after US President Donald Trump's decision to abruptly freeze all foreign aid for three months. Some of them used the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) funding to promote a better life for marginalized groupings like women, or gender and diversity communities.
