Need for more health-care funding after pandemic, Trudeau says
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government sees a need for it to provide more funding for provincially run health-care systems, but that any discussion must wait until after the COVID-19 pandemic. His comments came after a daylong meeting with provincial and territorial leaders where premiers pressed Trudeau for a large bump in federal health transfers.
