Newsroom Ready: B.C. father sentenced to life, 22 years before parole eligibility, for killing daughters

Andrew Berry was sentenced to life in prison Thursday with no eligibility for parole for 22 years for the murders of his four-year-old and six-year-old daughters on Christmas Day two years ago. B.C. Supreme Court Justice Miriam Gropper called the murders of Aubrey and Chloe Berry "vengeful" and "heinous." Outside court, Oak Bay deputy police chief Ray Bernoties says the murders rocked his community and the impact is still being felt.
