Newsroom Ready: Canadian aid package to help individuals, business stay afloat during economic crisis

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said Tuesday the government is preparing to unveil a major economic package to respond to the hit from COVID-19. Freeland said the measures will be aimed at ensuring businesses can come roaring back when this over – and so they and individuals can keep the lights on in the meantime. Health Minister Patty Hajdu encouraged Canadians to help each other out.
