Newsroom Ready: Conservative caucus meets with election campaign looming
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is meeting with his caucus in Ottawa as the party gets ready for an election campaign that could begin as early as March 10. Conservative MPs say they are the only party that will end the federal carbon price. Most Liberal leadership hopefuls have promised to end the consumer levy of the carbon price including former Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney. (Feb. 14, 2025)
