As the House of Commons resumed for the fall sitting, government House leader Steven MacKinnon says the government has a lot to do this fall and says it's on all parties and all MPs to collaborate. He says there will be "major pieces of legislation that we think meet the moment" and the government has a mandate to proceed with major things, even though it doesn't hold a majority of seats.
