Vancouver mayor-elect Ken Sim says hiring 100 new police officers and 100 mental-health nurses is a top priority for his party ABC Vancouver, which will have a majority when council is sworn in Nov. 7. But first, he told a press conference Monday that a transition team is laying out a plan for delivering the 94-point campaign platform.
