Newsroom Ready: Omar Khadr leaves Edmonton court a free man

The last legal restrictions on Omar Khadr were lifted when an Alberta judge ruled that a war crimes sentence for the former Guantanamo Bay prisoner has expired. Khadr and his lawyer Nathan Whitling spoke briefly to reporters outside the Edmonton courthouse where the ruling was handed down Monday morning.
