A man suspected in the July 2023 killing of a Toronto woman is believed to have fled to Somalia. Police say the 19-year-old man is facing charges of manslaughter and robbery with a firearm after Karolina Huebner-Makurat was shot by a stray bullet from a nearby altercation that broke out between three alleged drug dealers.
