PM Justin Trudeau announces $6-billion infrastructure fund
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the upcoming federal budget will include a $6-billion infrastructure fund to support homebuilding, as well as a $400-million top-up to the housing accelerator fund. During a stop in Dartmouth, N.S. alongside Housing Minister Sean Fraser, Trudeau had to speak over a din from a group of protesters, following allegations that two Indigenous fishermen in Nova Scotia were dumped by federal fisheries officers hours from home without footwear or phones.
