Self-proclaimed ‘Queen of Canada’ Romana Didulo freed on bail in Saskatchewan

A judge granted the release of Romana Didulo, the self-proclaimed "Queen of Canada," at a bail hearing in Swift Current, Sask., with conditions that include she live in Regina and stay 50 kilometres from Richmound, where her “Kingdom of Canada” group had set up a compound. Prosecutor Curtis Wiebe says he thinks the judge was thoughtful with the decision. (Sept. 9, 2025)
