Canadian municipalities will get speedier transfers of federal gas-tax money to help them through a cash crunch caused by COVID-19, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday. But they say they're facing a shortfall of at least $10 billion between them just this year and accelerating money they had already worked into their budgets anyway is not very much use.
