One of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded struck off Russia’s sparsely populated Far East Wednesday, sending tsunami waves into Japan, Hawaii, the U.S. West Coast and now Chile. The AP spoke to a tsunami warning expert with the National Tsunami Warning Center.
