Victims of German colonialism pushing country into new reckoning with dark past

Mnyaka Sururu Mboro is still driven by the promise he gave his grandmother when he left Tanzania for Germany almost 50 years ago. He told her he would recover the head of local chieftan Mangi Meli, who was executed by German colonists for opposing their rule. Mboro has seen how Germany is dealing with its colonial past as he has been looking for Meli's head.
